British are Coming! |
On
Saturday August 23rd twenty or more drama students
from Bath Spa University, of Bath,
England will be appearing at the Winter Street Center,
880 Washington Street, Bath, Maine. They will present
the latest venture by the school's Full Tilt Theater
Company billed as "its
boldest and most original yet"; A Comedy
of Errors.
Tickets for the show may be purchased at Now
Your Cooking and Springer's Jewelers. Both stores are located
on Front Street Bath. You may also call Sagadahoc
Preservation,
sponsor of this event, at 443-2174 to reserve a seat.
Tickets are $10.00 in advance or $12.00 at the door.
Seats are limited so make plans now to join your community
for this once in a lifetime event.

for Sale!!! |
Each
Year, Main Street Bath sells Mums in the fall to help
pay for the purchase and maintenance of the flowers
that adorn the downtown during the following summer.
These beautiful chrysanthemums and kale are grown locally
by Hawkes' Farm in Bath.They
come in 8 inch pots and fall blooming time is Early, Midseason,
or Late. The plants are $5.50 each.

Night Live All Summer Long!!! |
Friday
night is alright for shopping in downtown Bath! Bath
merchants will be staying open until 8pm every Friday from July 11 to August 29. Stroll down Front
and Centre Street to the melodies of live music
in front of City Hall. Aspiring artists and street
musicians are encouraged to set up shop downtown to
entertain their friends and neighbors.
Don’t forget
to pick up your copy of “Summer
in The City”,
a guide to everything that you love about Bath, free
concert series, the Farmer’s Market, ArtWalks and
concerts at the Gazebo. Copies are available at
the Main Street Bath office on 4 Centre Street and at
all your favorite shops and eateries downtown! |

Bath’s
Third Friday Art Walk happens all summer long providing
a wonderful opportunity to meet artists and discover
new work at over twenty five studios
and
shows throughout the City of Ships.

On Friday,
July 15, August 15th and September 19th from 5–8
pm,
downtown artist studios, galleries, restaurants and
shops show off work by the region’s artists. You
will discover fine crafts, sculpture, plein air paintings
and pastels, landscapes and abstract work. Most
sites are within walking distance in downtown Bath. The
Bath Trolley is also available to visit sites away
from downtown.
The Third Friday Art Walk is sponsored

| Friday Night Gazebo Concert Series |
On Friday,
June 20th, we started
up our popular gazebo concert series. All concerts
will be held in Library Park, Bath.
Come join us for a wonderful evening of community and

as Main Street Bath presents this series of Free Concerts
each Tuesday & Friday evening at 7:00 pm.

installed in the Arch. Museum quality prints
